Not Just Another Buffalo Wing Recipe
A fresh, healthy twist on traditional Buffalo chicken wings! Baked instead of fried, made with organic chicken, and lower in calories & fat than regular wings.
I love making buffalo wings and my husband loves eating them while watching football. I actually got inspired to make healthier but crispier wings during our first Super Bowl together 11 years ago in our cozy Jersey City apartment. Years later I am still making them for my kids too. It’s become a family favorite.
Wings are actually really quick, easy and affordable. Recently, I bought 2 lbs. organic chicken wings, served it with baked sweet potato fries and broccoli and it fed my family of 5 for $10.00!
After doing a Whole 30 Program, I had lots of Frank’s Red Hot sauce at home. It’s one of the only compliant hot sauces out there, and it tastes so good on just about anything. I wanted to add brightness to this sauce though (I know that sounds cheffy right?). And since citrus is in season, the combo of fresh orange juice, ghee, and Frank’s Red Hot sounded really good to me.
